Where does this unusual audio transmitter come from?
We got hold of a few of these from a film studio; they went bankrupt and we have got a few to sell. They are top quality and were used by a filming studio to listen to wildlife and monitor their sounds. The units we have for sale are brand new, never used.

How to Connect
Way 1 – Plug-and-Play Web UI
Connect your phone directly to the audio transmitter. Scan Wi-Fi networks on your phone, connect to the transmitter, then open a browser and go to 192.168.4.1. Now you can use the audio transmitter, adjust gain, EQ, Wi-Fi power, and latency, with full audio visualization included!
Way 2 – Via Home Wi-Fi Router
Connect both your phone and the audio transmitter to your home Wi-Fi router. Log into the transmitter at 192.168.4.1 and enter your router name and password. Now you can use the high-gain audio transmitter through your home Wi-Fi network.

Why does the audio transmitter not have a built in battery? , and Test results for transmission range?
Because Lithium-Ion batteries don't last forever, so by using a power bank you do not need to worry about an internal battery losing its capacity and needing replacing, and power banks are a lot bigger in capacity so the transmitter has much much longer run times, and you can get some very small power banks.
Transmission range testing was done using an Xiaomi 10 pro mobile phone doing a direct connection to the transmitter in AP mode and achieved a transmission rage of over 300 meters !0.2 mile on flat ground with no obstructions , transmission range will be a lot less going through walls and ceilings.
